About Dorothy O'Dell
Dorothy O’Dell, founder of Unstoppable Overcomers Productions, started her love of media in 2020 when she was trying to get her name known after writing her first book "The Overcomer." After a lot of trial-and-error, Dorothy started livestreaming her show Unstoppable Overcomers in May of 2021. Her sole purpose of the show was to showcase amazing people that have overcome great odds and have gone on to help other people. She wanted to let people know that they were never alone in their circumstances.
She has gone on to interview over 140 people, and each person she interviews she has made a lasting positive impression on their lives.
After being coached by Tim Sohn for a livestreaming course back in April of 2021, they stayed friends and have helped each other though some difficult times, so when Tim asked for Dorothy’s help him to become the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man of the Year, she said yes and joined his volunteer team.
This is where Dorothy came up with the idea to do a 24-hour live streaming event to bring awareness for LLS and to raise money. Their first event was successful and raised $5,000, so they did it again, this time with a 12-hour livestream event raising a total of $15,000 over the campaign.
From these events, the impact on people’s lives is what you can’t put a price tag on.
The relationships and lives changed from those events is what makes the difference for Dorothy.
Dorothy, along with her husband Joe and stepson, reside in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Dorothy’s mission is to eradicate homelessness and bring awareness of more topics that people think are taboo cause taboo will not do!

About Tim Sohn
Tim Sohn, founder of Sohn Social Media Solutions, started livestreaming more than five years ago.
He has taught hundreds of students and clients how to create their own livestream shows through his Survive & Rise with Live Video coaching programs and has produced virtual events for the United Nations, the largest teacher virtual conference in the world - T4, the Pennsylvania Environmental Council, among other nonprofits.
Tim is also a 16-year cancer survivor and co-creator and host of Showing Up: Perspectives On Cancer, a movement and weekly livestreamed show - a safe space where cancer survivors and cancer supporters come together to share their stories and connect, as well as find resources that provide healing, hope and resilience.
He also won the Mission Award from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for the 24 hour livestreamed fundraiser Open Your Hearts & Wallets, which raised 24 hours of cancer awareness and thousands of dollars for LLS though its philanthropic competition.
